Electric fireplace removal, Wall plastering, Dado rails
In a recent renovation, I conducted the removal of an electric fireplace, proceeded with plastering the wall, and then fitted dado rails. The objective was to revamp the space by eliminating the fireplace, refining the wall’s texture with plaster, and adding decorative dado rails.

As part of a renovation, I removed a fireplace to create a larger chamber. I installed a rectangular lintel to accommodate the new fireplace, fitted by my approved DEFRA installer. Completing the project, I refined the area using brick slates and wallpaper. This aimed to reconfigure the space and introduce a new fireplace while ensuring a neat and polished finish.
Dado rails install
In this project, I installed dado rails along the staircase as per the customer’s request. The customer wanted to have the freedom to decorate the rails themselves. This approach allowed the owner to personalise the space according to their own preferences and style.
Laminate flooring fitting
In a recent assignment, I handled the installation of laminate flooring. This involved fitting and securing the laminate flooring throughout the designated area, aiming to enhance the space with a durable and visually appealing flooring solution.
